On the NDP-Liberal deal

Originally uploaded by sexysabi.
Brilliant move by the Liberals and NDP. The deal won't prevent an election - looks like 154-152 and maybe 155-151 for the opposition (now 2 out of 3 independants ready to vote against government)...but it positions the Liberals to categorize the conservatives as "...teaming with those evil seperatists.."...good move by the NDP as it shows that even a 19-member party can effect the budget and weakens the Liberals because they reneged on a deal and weakens the Conservatives because it shows the opposition isn't united with the Conservatives in the lead - accompanying photo is my pick for "photo of the day" from flickr, a free photo upload site - love the cleavage, love the saucy, relaxed look, love the unkempt role-in-the-sack hair style, love the tight jeans, just love the whole darn thing. Photo not by me, of course.

Willow's Guest Blog

Willow's First Picture

Due to my addiction to world of warcraft, I have recruited my 2-year old friend Willow to update my blog....this picture is the first picture she ever took, of her stuffed animal stork, who she names "Duck"...Willow likes water and tulips (and smelling tulips), sesame street (Bert is her favourite character), hockey, bananas, alphagettis, going to the zoo (she says the rooster is her favourite animal and that she is scared of wolves), she is also scared of the rain and planes...Willow requires 2 stories, a rock in her favourite rocking chair, and a full bottle of milk before going to bed, which she quickly chugs...alphabet book is her favourite, but don't she always skips the "G" page...likes to go swimming but she doesn't really swim she wades...

World of Warcraft Addiction

World of Warcraft Addiction

I've given up all productive life to commit myself to playing world of warcraft full time. I'm showing the classic signs of addiction - not even blogging much lately because all computer time must be warcraft time...might be time to erase this demon game from my computer...I actually hope that the conservatives don't bring down the government, I think that they should wait until the Gomery inquiry is near done...it's only to their advantage, stuff gets jucier every day...Liberal defence of "rogue element inside of party" doesn't really cut it - if you can't run your own party, how are ya going to run a country?

U.S. Blogger Breaches Canadian Publication Ban - Adscam

It's nice to know our American neighbours have a greater ability to report on Canadian news than Canadians do:
U.S. Blogger Breaches Canadian Publication Ban - Adscam
Of course, publication bans don't really work in the internet age. Even though they said "sharing links can get you in trouble", what about sharing easily searchable text such as Canoe did. Canoe, with this story, gives you the nice searchable phrase "Canada's Corruption Scandal Breaks Wide Open", plug that into google, and see what happens.

Also nice to know that the right of an crook to a fair trial outweighs a countries right to free elections.

Canadian Government to fall.....

Bookstore

As I said in an earlier post, the Canadian government will fall because of the adscam controversey, see Election chatter grows...wow, I'm dying to find out what the "Explosive new testimony before the sponsorship inquiry..." is....I bet that one of the witnesses admitted that Paul Martin orchestrated something...what if we have an election and we end up with the exact same electoral makeup?...for some reason, this motely crew hanging out in front of a local used bookstore was interesting to me...it is interesting that the state-run organ CBC makes no mention of this "Explosive Testimony"...saw the most amazing woman at the Champlain mall today, white suit/skirt combo, brunette hair, deep cleavage...damn.

Stone Henge

Stone Henge

I am rarely proud of politicians, but I am today. Norm McFarlane, mayor of Saint John, not only signed a good deal with Irving to get much-need jobs into town with the LMG plant, but he faced town and angry mob to do so. I like his "I will take the political heat for this...it's a good deal". One of the angry mobsters was quoted on the radio as saying that council approving the deal was an "insult to democracy". Not sure how - isn't democratically elected representatives voting (with majority deciding) the very definition of democracy? Would be swayed by a random, angry mob been more democratic? Bravo, Norm.
